Gear for this ability
A category built around low weight (about 60g) and a high polling rate (1,000Hz = input reported every 1ms). Related to tests that repeat short movements, like reaction, click speed and aim.
Only the top 10 get their name up. No login, weekly and all-time.
The icon before a nickname is the primary pointer the measuring browser reported (phone = coarse, mouse = fine). It does not identify the actual input or device, and no icon means no information.

How it works
- Click the centre target to begin.
- Targets appear one at a time, 30 in total. Click or tap each one as fast as you can.
- Each target is timed from the moment it appears until you hit it, then averaged. Misses carry no penalty, but the clock keeps running.
About this test
Aim is moving a cursor or finger to where your eyes landed, quickly and accurately. Fitts’s law, the classic model of this movement, says time grows with distance and shrinks with target size. One result includes noticing the target, moving to it and pressing.
The board and target proportions match the well known Human Benchmark Aim Trainer (970×500 board, 100 diameter targets). On small screens the board shrinks in proportion, and it turns to whichever orientation shows bigger targets (usually upright on a phone held upright). The percentile table comes from that site’s published mouse results, so touch results are a rough comparison.
Tier table
| Tier | Result | Top % |
|---|---|---|
| Master | 304 ms or less | 1% |
| Diamond | 343 ms or less | 5% |
| Platinum | 377 ms or less | 15% |
| Gold | 418 ms or less | 30% |
| Silver | 469 ms or less | 50% |
| Bronze | 552 ms or less | 75% |
| Iron | Below Bronze | — |
Tiers are set by your top % alone. A result exactly on a boundary gets that tier. Baselines are initial values and will be updated as real data accumulates.

In everyday life
- Gaming: the first click on an enemy in FPS and MOBA games is exactly this speed.
- Work: hitting a small icon or close button in one go is the same movement.
- Phone: tapping buttons that pop up around the screen.
FAQ
Is a mouse or touch better?
A finger presses the screen directly while a mouse has to move a cursor, so the movements differ. The table is built from published mouse results, so percentiles and tiers for phone results are a rough comparison.
Can I play with a keyboard?
No. The test times how fast you aim at targets with a mouse, touch or pen, so it cannot be measured with a keyboard alone. Start, close and retry work with a keyboard.
Do misses cost points?
No penalty, but the clock keeps running for that target while you miss. Your miss count is shown separately in the result.
Is a small screen a disadvantage?
The board shrinks to fit, but target size and distance keep the same proportions. If the window size, orientation or zoom changes during a run, it starts over.
