How it works
- Numbers 1 to 25 are shuffled on a 5×5 grid. Tap them in order starting from 1.
- Found numbers fade out and the next number to find is shown at the top. A wrong tap adds 1 second.
- Your record is the time to reach 25. Past 120 seconds the round ends as a fail.
About this test
Number Hunt is a classic visual focus game known as the Schulte table. You have to take in the whole grid at once and spot where the next number is. If your eyes get stuck on one cell or jump randomly, the clock runs. People who keep a wide field of view are fast.
This version fades out the numbers you have found, so the candidates shrink as you go. That makes it easier than the original table with no marking, so compare records from here with each other, not with other sites. Your score is the seconds to reach 25 plus 1 second per wrong tap. Lower is better.
This is a concentration game played for fun. Compare results with yourself on the same device and in the same conditions. It is not a diagnosis or an assessment of any kind.

In everyday life
- Car park, supermarket: finding your car or your item quickly in a wide space.
- Documents: scanning a table or a list for the cell you need.
- Screens: pointing straight at one number on a busy dashboard.
FAQ
Does screen size matter?
Yes. A large screen fits in one glance; on a small one your finger covers cells. Compare records made on the same device.
How should I move my eyes?
A known technique is to look at the centre and find the next number with your peripheral vision. Do not read cell by cell; soften your gaze over the whole grid.
Where do the baselines come from?
They are initial estimates derived from this game's own rules (5×5, fading, penalties, 120 s limit). Other Schulte table records use different conditions, so we did not import their numbers. Baselines update as records accumulate.
